Leaf & Loam is a static website. There are no accounts, no login, no comment form and no shopping cart, so there is nothing on this site that asks you for personal information.

We do not sell, rent or share personal data, because we do not hold any.

Like any website, the hosting provider records standard technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the site running and to detect abuse.

They are retained for a limited period by the hosting provider and are not combined with any other information about you.

This site sets no cookies of its own. No advertising, tracking or profiling cookies are used.

If analytics are added in future, they will be privacy-focused and cookie-free, and this page will be updated before any change takes effect.

Fonts are served from Google Fonts and are self-hosted at build time, so your browser does not contact Google when you load a page.

Photographs are hosted on this site rather than hotlinked. Links to Wikimedia Commons file pages, and any external links in articles, take you to sites with their own privacy policies that we do not control.

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.

Where data protection law such as the UK GDPR or the EU GDPR applies, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure and objection regarding personal data held about you. Since this site holds no personal data beyond transient server logs, there is normally nothing to disclose or erase.

If this policy changes — for example if analytics or a newsletter are introduced — the updated version will be published here with a new effective date.
